Urdu Digitizer is an online platform that allows registered users to:

• Upload scanned PDF books for automated page extraction and cropping
• View and copy individual page images for typing and digitization purposes
• Use AI-powered OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to assist with Urdu text transcription
• Save and manage digitization sessions (book library) for registered users

3. User Accounts

To access full features, you must register for an account using a username and password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload, process, or distribute content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights
• Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service's code or algorithms
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in ways that harm its performance
• Impersonate other users, administrators, or the Service owner
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to admin areas or other users' data
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or any malicious code

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the PDF files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our Content: All code, UI design, text, and functionality of urdudigitizer.site are owned by the Urdu Digitizer team. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

Copyright Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring that any book or PDF you upload does not violate copyright law. We do not monitor uploaded content for copyright compliance, but we will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices.

6. Usage Limits & Plans

• Free Users: Limited to 10 image copies per session. Additional usage may require a paid upgrade.
• Admin / Owner accounts: Unlimited access as assigned by the platform owner.
• Limits may change at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of major changes.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party APIs including Google Gemini for OCR processing. Your use of OCR features is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of OCR results generated by third-party AI services.

We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Ad content is served by Google and governed by Google's advertising policies. We do not control individual ad content.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• OCR results will be accurate or complete
• Uploaded files will be permanently stored — sessions may expire
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urdu Digitizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urdu Digitizer and its team from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications to Terms
